今天下午,我與台灣公民參與協會的理事長葉國樑和粘麗玉主任拜會一位企業界代表,進行了一場募款拜會。
會議中,企業代表分享了他們對於推動台灣公民參與協會發展的建議,並且針對如何為協會的未來做好準備提出了深刻的見解。
首先,這位企業界人士回顧了過去別的協會的運營歷程,對先前的領導風格與決策進行了分析。
他強調,協會要想在未來保持長久的生命力,必須要有清晰的願景與持續的創新,並且要在現有基礎上進一步擴大其影響力。
他提到,過去的領導雖然做出了一些努力,但在面對當前快速變化的社會環境時,仍有不少改進的空間。
接著,這位企業家分享了如何提升協會財務穩定性的一些策略。他詳細闡述了商業化模式在非營利組織中的應用,並強調協會若能開發一些自營收入來源,將能更好地維持其運作及長期發展。
具體而言,他建議協會應該探索多元化的資金來源,例如舉辦募款活動、發展合作夥伴關係,甚至推出一些具社會影響力的產品或服務。
然而,會議中存在一個語言上的挑戰,因為部分對話是以專業術語進行的,而我對於某些商業和NGO領域的術語不甚了解。而且,有部分對話是台語的,所以那樣部分我聽不懂。因此,有些討論內容對我來說略顯模糊,無法完全理解。但即便如此,會議中仍有許多富有啟發性的觀點,尤其是在如何在快速變動的環境中保持協會的活力和競爭力方面,我受益匪淺。
總結來說,這次會議不僅讓我對台灣公民參與協會的發展方向有了更清晰的認識,也提供了我對未來工作中可能遇到的挑戰與機會的深入思考。我期待能夠將這些觀點與我的同事們分享,共同為協會的未來發展出謀劃策。
Learning how to Prepare for the Future of the Association
This afternoon, I had a meeting with the chairman of the Taiwan Citizen Participation Association, Jen Nein, and a representative of the business community. During the meeting, the business representative shared their suggestions for promoting the development of the Taiwan Citizen Participation Association and provided insights on how to prepare for the future of the association.
First, the businessman reviewed the operation of other associations in the past and analyzed the previous leadership style and decision-making. He emphasized that if the association wants to maintain long-term vitality in the future, it must have a clear vision and continuous innovation, as well as further expand its influence on the existing basis. He mentioned that although past leaders have made some efforts, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the face of the current rapidly changing social environment.
He then shared some strategies on how to improve the financial stability of the association. He elaborated on the application of the commercialization model to non-profit organizations, and emphasized that if the association can develop some self-operated income sources, it will be better able to maintain its operation and long-term development. Specifically, he suggested that the association should explore diverse sources of funding, such as holding fundraisers, developing partnerships, and even launching products or services that have a social impact.
However, there was a linguistic challenge in the conference, as some of the conversations were conducted in technical jargon, and I did not know much about some business and economic terminology in Mandarin. Moreover, some of the dialogue is in Taiwanese, so I couldn't understand that part. As a result, some of the discussions were a bit vague to me and could not be fully understood. But even so, there were many enlightening points from the conference, especially on how to keep the association alive and competitive in a rapidly changing environment.
In summary, this meeting not only gave me a clearer understanding of the development direction of the Taiwan Citizen Participation Association, but also provided me with in-depth thinking about the challenges and opportunities I may encounter in my future work. I look forward to sharing these views with my colleagues and jointly advising on the future development of the association.
