安瑞希實習的心得 03: 送禮物和開始學台灣的語言

今天我幫 TCPA 包裝禮物，然後拿去郵局寄出。這些禮物是送給曾經參加 TCPA 課程的朋友們。

接著，我開始了一個既大又重要的任務——學台語！

雖然我的中文還不算很好，但我覺得學台語也很重要。因為有些台灣人只會說台語，或是他們用台語比中文更自然。如果我想更了解台灣的社會和挑戰，甚至幫上一點忙，那就應該多少懂一點他們的語言。

老實說，這對我來說真的滿困難的。台語和中文雖然有些地方相似，但還是差很多。台語是一種獨立的語言，發音和語調都跟中文不一樣。而我在中文的發音還沒完全學會，台語對我來說就更有挑戰了。

雖然不簡單，但我真的很期待學台語的過程！

 

Give gifts and start learning the Taiwanese language

Today I helped TCPA wrap gifts and deliver them to the post office. These gifts were people who have taken TCPA courses.

Then, I started a big and important task - learning Taiwanese!

Although my Chinese is not very good, I still think it is important to also learn Taiwanese. Because some Taiwanese only speak Taiwanese, or they use Taiwanese more naturally than Chinese. If I want to learn more about Taiwanese society and challenges, or even help a little, I should know a little bit about their language.

To be honest, it was really difficult for me. Although Taiwanese and Chinese are similar in some places, there are still many lingual differences. These differences can be as small as pronunciation and tones, to completely different words. Taiwanese is most definitely its own language. And since my pronunciation in Chinese has not yet been fully learned, Taiwanese is even more challenging for me.

It's not easy, but I'm really looking forward to learning Taiwanese!
